Usually, get the work done and paid. Then consider re quoting. If communication is either non existent or unreasonable, the quote increase has to account for this.
I don’t think it’s right to advise a new accountant of previous problems. It’s up the new accountant to consider the appointment and judge the client themselves.
In new client interview, it’s quite easy to uncover any red flags most (but not all) of the time.
On another note I find the PITA acronym in poor taste.
yes also a bit of a rubbish week.
I watched the apprentice on Wednesday and picking up dog [***] certainly resonated.
Have had big problems with a con artist debt collection outfit called Falcon Management as per Citizen Advice and The Daily Express have been a lot of complaints. Feel very let down as debt collectors are meant to help, I never envisaged perhaps having to take the debt collector to court!

We did a trial with autoentry this month and found it more expensive and time consuming than manually analysing receipts.
Autorec is good for bank analysis though but understand this product is being discontinued / migrated to Auto Entry. Shame that bankstream has been swallowed by quickbooks, would be good to see another bankstream independent offering as think would be popular.
Good to hear Receipt Bank doesn't work, won't bother looking into that further then.
We applied to this website and paid £250 up front for some discounted leads at 50%
They have now vanished and we didn't use all of our leads and no refunds?
