I managed to speak to staff members at customer service who assured me that it would not be a problem to extend the licence to the end of March 2025 but it was a big NO once it went up to manager level. They even sent me a fee note to March 2025 and then said it was a mistake. I only have an extension to September 2024.
It's such a pain migrating payrolls mid tax year. I realise it's a business decision to go the cloud but i wouldn't treat my clients in this despicable way.
To top it all they sent a customer satisfaction survey . They just don't listen.
I had exactly the same experience as Geoff56. I pleaded with IRIS to extend to March 2025 and they refused. This was after 30 years with them. Staffology is too basic and too expensive. The reviews of Staffology are terrible and so I will be leaving IRIS. I am disgusted with IRIS.
I have a similar problem for 2007/2008. HMRC refuse to release over £8k paid on account
for that year because the tax return was submitted late (as part of the HMRC tax return initiative last year). I accept that my client was negligent in keeping his affairs up to date but HMRC's stance does seem very unjust.
HMRC have told me I can't apply for special relief because a determination was not raised.
