Check date loan was repaid
When you say loan has just been repaid do you mean before or after 31.3.11?
If before, write and ask HMRC for refund
If after then do the same but it will have to wait until next years accounts are submitted.
In order to avoid new s419 (I know - the section has changed but old dog etc!) the loan must be repaid within
9 months of yera end
In order to get repayment of old s419 the loan must be repid in the year of claim.
Avoiding the middlemen
A scheme of putting wealthy individuals in touch with businesses who want rid of bank involvement is already around in the form of Funding Circle - a web-based introductory agency.
Having used it for clients I can strongly recommend the process (although I suspect it is run by ex bank managers!)
Successful member for over 10 years
I have been a member of AVN almost since it started and have no issues with results not justifying the costs.
I am a sole partner with 8 other team members and turnover approaching £500k and a successful financial services business alongside.
The tools do take time to settle in but believe Times Up and the tax software are probably going to be the quickest "wins". I am surprised at the lack of client receptiveness to Times Up as this has been instrumental in helping us gain good clients.
Would be happy to discuss in detail how we use the AVN tools on 01752 752210
Clunky but works Ok
We use BCM 2007 on Exchange with 8 users with no problems. Some crashes of Outlook but not sure that is down to BCM.
The separation of "Accounts" and "Contacts" seems unwieldy and other aspects can be clunky.
Currently upgrading to BCM 2010 but have heard rumours Microsoft aren't going to support BCM in future?
