IRIS has let us down. As its OpenTax product cannot produce tax returns until May 2017. If IRIS can decide to do that to one set of their customers, then that can do it again to others.
I suggest you be very doubtful of IRIS. As they have just announced that its OpenTax online tax product will not be ready for 2016/17 tax returns until May 2017.
Any firm that can do that should not be trusted in any area of its operations.
My answers
Yes all good here too.
Would be nice to know why that occured.
I have the same problem - and reported to HMRC on Friday
No perhaps about it!
Be warned!

IRIS announce today that their "OpenTax" product will not be ready until May 2016!
Leaving a host of Accountants with no tax software to prepare 2016/17 tax returns.
Obviously IRIS have diverted their attention to MTD, whilst leaving OpenTax users hung out to dry!
Result!
Thanks Ernest.
Thats's just what I needed to know.
So the author could gift the royalties to the company with a holdover claim, and therefore no s776 tax charge.

Not sure what you mean by "intra site" google search facility. I'm obviously not as clued up internet wise as I thought!.

contract
Thanks for your comments.
There is a contract, and he is picked because of his strong general knowledge ability.
The only significant point in the contract, regards to payment, is that nothing is received if he does not win.
Do you know if there is anything specific on the HMRC site about this?
