This brings the questions, which professional membership is best for potential practicing accountant?
Which body provides best support for their members?
AAT, ACCA, ICAEW, ICAI, ICAS ?
Should we go for multiple membership and PC?
We use E-sign by DocuSign.
We have to sign it first and then get the client signed.
With date and time all clearly tracked.
i dont think wet signatures are better than this.
We have this too.
But the conversion of pdf to CSV is almost fail to many banks as they have different formats and cannot produce desired csv. :(
I would recommend using business broadband from Brightstar Ltd. We also use server from them.
The internet is 100mps up and down.
They charge us about 40/month.
they also provide voip phone service .
Check them out. we are satisfied so far.
I am not sure if you can use our name - MW guys
They are residents in UK but originally from India. Most of them have British Citizenship too so they cannot buy the properties like the residents of India.
But once they get some kind of ID called PAN /OCI cards they can buy certain kind of properties.
They are uk based and when they buy any property in india, the client gets his commission directly from the india company who sells the property.
or perhaps from sister companies of those companies in uk.
He invoices to those companies directly without VAT.
He also actively does marketing of the properties in uk to gain customers.
And help them to apply the cards and charges nominal fee without VAT onthem (which i think is wrong)
The turnover is less than 10 which is <10% of his turnover.
The more i search the information, I strongly fee that the company should not be vat registered as he is providing service out of scope of VAT.
Unless i am assuming wrong here.
Hi ireallyshouldknowthisbut ,
Thank you for your input.
But the properties are based in India and sold by Indian housing companies.
My client only finds customer here in UK through advertising and organizing expo events.
He gets commission for any sale made in his company accounts.
Now the HMRC resource is not exactly clear on this neither did ACCA and ICPA helpline was able to help me.
So trying to see if any fellow accountants can shed their opinion.
I have opinion that he should not be vat registered and claim any vat back. He has previous accountant who had suggested him to claim vat.
And it is not a rental income. This is pure commission on sale of residential flats in India.
Apologies if i was not clear in the outset.
Thank you again.
