What a lot of effort for nothing. If a client is late getting his books in tough luck

Surely wanting to change the VAT rules is why 17 million voted for Brexit? (Only kidding - I know fine well it was racist xenophobia.)

We recently had a corruption that meant we had to restore a back up because it wouldn't accept passwords (even blank for manager). Sage of course blamed us but they have recently introduced new security on their data files which I believe to be the root of the problem. (We had been through all the update of Windows 10 fixes to no avail).
Now amended their back up scheduler to daily and keep back up files for a year!

And how pray will MTD deal with all this on a quarterly basis?
(Paul Scholes lives on a different planet to the rest of us.)

No but you could try and use Excel integration. Good luck with that.

For all the monthly cost of a subscription for Sage Line 50 or, even cheaper, Quickbooks online you are currently well exposed to disaster.

Would you be claiming as allowable the expenditure that was met out of the grant?
