Great suggestion but I dont think I could ever be that disciplined to scan everything in! At the moment I do not have on-line back up facility either I just back up to a portable hard drive. How do you go about on line back up facility and is it expensive? Do you prepare your working papers on the computer too, rather than manually and then scan them?
I would like to think I could adopt electronic filing one day, I agree the paperless office means clutter free working!
I am going to adopt your system, have a good clear out, set up some permanent files and then keep on top of it!! I can work so much better when things are organised.
