Those bells ringing are not Santa coming.... they are huge warning ones flagging up the folly of doing this.
We would be an outright NO, at the initial request, but at least you are asking the question here, hopefully before you have agreed to this.
Some of the best decisions you will ever make are when you say NO.

Got my pack yesterday, the 17th October.
Fab timing considering the webinars printed on the reverse were on the 10th, 11th and 16th October!
At least glad ICAEW wasting the governments money on this rubbish rather than members subscriptions.

Or prepare the Accounts under FRS105 (If you can) and just leave in at cost, with gain taxable when they are sold.

PJ, you may want to re-consider whether you should be sending in a SAR in all cases, as when the privilege reporting exemption applies, even though you may wish to submit a SAR, you shouldn't. Doing so is a breach of client confidentiality.

Do a loan agreement and a debenture from IT company (A) to Property Company (B) and then if B goes bust A is first in line for payout (after IP) and can control the situation as Debenture holder.
Unless B needs to borrow money from bank and they will want a Debenture.

They have a big computer system already called Connect.
HMRC have been very quietly constantly improving this system and once they get all transactions in the fun will really start.

When setting the company/LLP/Partnership up we advise all clients to get a shareholders agreement/etc.
Most don't bother and have no interest in getting this sorted.
Include a paragraph in your letter sending setup fee strongly advising them to do it. Move on.
If (when) it hits the fan don't say I told you so, although a polite reminder of your letter dated X advising them to do so should be suffice.
