It had a brief wobble earlier - tech support got on it and it seemed to be fixed relatively quickly, although the error page was stuck in the cache for me so kept popping up until I refreshed each screen in turn..

Just a thought - did you roll forward last year's tax returns into 18/19 (one at a time, or using the bulk facility) before the 17/18 figures were finalised?
I've not come across the issues that you are suggesting, just trying to logically think what *could* cause it..

In terms of supporting your staff's mental health, have you considered an EAP? Giving staff somewhere to get help on a number of work and non work-related matters, plus access to training and additional support if needed is a good start. Some also give you support if your staff take time off for stress related matters and can help get them and you back on the tracks.
I know they're not for everyone, but at least showing your staff that you at least care about their mental health might not be a bad start.
I've seen a demo back in May and it showed promise, but also felt to me like it was a little way off being polished and ready for launch. Hopefully we'll start to see something soon.
Good news perhaps on one hand, but frustrating that we've spent time and money getting ourselves and our staff clued up on it now that the implementation is less than a month away - and we've sent information to clients - turns out that was a complete waste of time.. and more time needed now to tell them to ignore it!
Openspace is ok, I'm hoping that some of the taxfiler technology finds its way in that direction, as it feels far less responsive moving around it than in taxfiler.
The integration is still in testing as far as I know - it's basic but it works. My best advice is to ask to join the beta test and then tell them how you would like it to work - that's the best chance of helping it move in the right direction, and actually it's not too major a part to help them to test & provide feedback on.
Openspace storage is £5 per GB per month if you want more - a lot of things that we upload are only small, but ultimately it depends whether your remove documents once approved/used or whether you leave it as an archive, in which case you will always need more space.
For existing Brightpay users, please contact them to ask for more workflow/bureau management related features - if more of us ask for it, there's more chance it might happen.

I'd be interested in any follow-up on this - did you get to the bottom of it?

Happy to recommend Brightpay!
I'm sure they did - but apparently this is no longer the case - you just have to ring the CT office.
Good luck with that!
