QuickBooks - Help & Support I too find that QB Accountant is lot better than Sage L50 (v11/12), but Intuit lack the back-up needed to support its products -specially to PAP members.
Try TAS Books I have been using TAS for some years now and find it much easier to use than SAGE. I have recommended the software to lot of our clients (ex Sage and Quick Books users)and almost all of them are satisfied with the product. TAS Books 1 is ideal for a small business - and the reporting facilities are sufficient to produce draft accounts. I just hope that Sage (as current owners of the product) will not "kill" the product.
My answers
Agree - Excel can do that job easily!
Try IAO
Try Iris Accounts Office (I beleive it is a mini version of Iris Exchequer). Good value for money.

Sage v12
Unsuccessful attempt at 3 dimensional accounting and new look menus on Sage v12!
Well, some would say Sage is trying to pinch some ideas from Quickbooks.
Or am I being cynical ?
Quick Books
Joy Cantlon is one of many hundreds (if not thousands)of accountants/book-keepers who think Sage(L50/Instant)is the best.
If only they try using Q/Books and/or TAS (also owned by Sage) - and see the advantage!!! Both of them are far better than Sage.
