Just to update this thread in case anyone else is looking for answers, I have used 123 sheets without any problems for 3 different companies now. I like the fact that is it straightforward and does not require any messing around with copy/pasting information or typing anything in as with other software when importing from Sage, though it does have an option for non-sage users. The website is simplistic but user friendly, just does what it is there to do, no more, no less. Highly recommended for sage users.
Thank you all very much for the valuable information and advice, based on this it has been decided that we go with Brightpay. They have also been very helpful on the phone. Just hoping the accountants will provide the necessary information in good time for next month
Thanks for your response.
The old tax codes were only used in week 1 and then changed to the correct ones. I think it was more due to miscommunication rather than relying on software. Just wanted to know if the employees pay would have been calculated incorrectly due to this error.
It's sage instant, you are right it would have made sense if the softer was more intelligent. thanks for the suggestions, i will definitely suggest those to the company. Will they have to wait until the next tax year to swap over ?
What an excellent idea! That will definitely send the right message, as I don't really want to fall out with him by refusing to work or legal action. He will have a choice of either pre-paying or going elsewhere, problem solved! So simple! Many thanks
Thank you The march payment was processed before 5th April so it was reported in the correct year as month 12.
The April payment was processed after 5th of May - that's what created the issue, all the following payments were late therefore when I received the funds for February 2016 on 10th of March it showed up as month 12. Hi or this makes sense

Unfortunately, this would involve a new subscription and it is not an option, thank you for your input anyhow
