Thanks for the advice. I've tried logging out, clearing cookies, turning the pc off and on, clearing the memory. Nothing seems to work. I've messaged hmrc and they will get back to me in a couple of days (hopefully).

He would pay 20% tax on his rental income. This would reduce his corporation tax liability by 19% on the same amount but he would not pay the 7.5% tax on the dividends he replaced with additional rent.
Many thanks for the replies. Unfortunately by increasing the rental income for the client, the payments on account that become payable makes it look like he would be paying more tax (even though he actually wouldn't be in the long run). Thanks anyway.
