So Dankse Bank has just admitted to laundering $240 Billion.
HSBC has been fined billions in the USA for money laundering
HSBC has been caught money laundering in Switzerland
ING bank has been fined Euro 900 million for money laundering.
No directors/staff jailed.
And we must be motivated to keep extensive records on our tiny clients who would not know how to launder money even with a how to manual?
Every solution has a problem seems to be the mantra with Brexit.
My reading is that VAT rules apply the same as when we import from the rest of the world. And for the remainers, yes there is more to the world than the EU.
Oh I did not vote, not allowed, but would probably have gone for remain as essentially being a bit lazy it would have been the easiest choice.
[quoteIn my experience 90% of spreadsheet users are only able to basic things as sub-total columns and rows and subtract and divide to analyse data.
Sad really!

And in my experience in 90% of the time I only need to do basic things.
Clients do not want all dancing spreadsheet work and will not pay for it. I use some fancy ones but just to make my life easier and I had some time to build them.
I think I know MTD until I client asks me detail and I realise my ignorance. Despite reading tons of material.
Clients know even less. Many look confused when I say MTD. They never heard of it.
And April 2019 some 10 months away, full implementation? Will make the Titanic disaster look like a pleasant summer swim.

They off course will take 11 years and 11 months to then ask you to respond within 30 days.
Why do they think it takes 12 years to get a response from overseas or other Institutions. Even 6 years is a bit much.
Wasting taxpayers money, forcing a charity to incur unecessary expense, harassing the small tax payer.
And they get away with it. No penalty for HMRC!
