You can use the ESTA to visit the US for meetings, etc, but you cannot use it to work for 3 months. To do this you would need a work visa.
If you end up working for the US company, from the UK you will need a EIN number for your limited company to avoid withholding tax. You will also need to complete a W8-BEN-E form which they will require.
Basically, you cannot just choose to go and work in the US, the visa stipulations are really tight and I really wouldn't mess with them.

I've never heard of them offering a payment plan, they tend to just refer to debt collectors pretty quickly.
I would call and ask them

We had the same issue. NEST have now introduced a way of paying via debit card, as long as that card is an international card.
Alternatively Lighthouse Group offer a scheme with no DD, but it's quite expensive

You will also need to consider auto enrollment obligations if there is a PAYE scheme

You need to pay someone to look at your whole situation and advise you on this properly for now and the future. This is not a simple question for a forum. There are lots of companies that specialise in expat taxes, get in contact with one of them.

Why do you want your certificate reissued?
It sounds like you resigned your membership and went MAAT instead
