Shame on those who continue to abuse the system. The old employer should have never taken this employee back simply to make a claim and this employee clearly can't be trusted. Get rid asap.

It is getting increasingly difficult to keep clients calm. We know several companies that are struggling and they will go to ground in a few weeks. It is devastating for their families and employees alike. It's not helped by the fact that banks are making it very difficult to borrow, no government support and lack of clarity from the government re easing of lockdown.
It is a very difficult time for many and we are struggling to stay positive. Good luck!

Those idiots trying to play the system clearly don't realise it will be a very long way back from this and we all need to do our bit. The majority of my clients are simply trying to stay afloat and I'm helping where I can. It's a difficult time for some folks.

You will find several threads on this subject, most recommending Brightpay. We've been using the software for a few years now and we find it great. As a Sage and Xero user, you will benefit from the introduction of an API with both packages. It is significantly less expensive than Sage and far superior IMHO.

I'm no expert but I don't think you can just convert a backup from Sage for BP or MS. Could you ask your client to give you the employees payroll details in CSV format? Most payroll providers allow for CSV imports.

You won't regret it! I've been using Brightpay for a few years now and I'm very happy with it.

A Cloud-based version of Brightpay would be the icing on the cake.

Auto enrolment forms part of the payroll duties I carry out for my clients. The payroll software provider I use doesn't charge extra for AE which helps.

Brightpay for all the reasons already mentioned.

Their reputation is in tatters but they don't seem to care. You can almost guarantee Taxfiler will follow suit in due course. The curse of an IRIS takeover.
