Dying race of solo accountants
There must be quite a few of us provincial accountants with a string of professional qualifications that make a pittance. After 6 years my fee income is three times the sum of my membership fees, PII, licences etc. Yes I'm well into a four figure gross fee income.
I don't suppose there are any sole practitioners who are wholly compliant with all the rules

I think from the wording it implies your client will be conclusively non-resident since it says that if you meet the automatic non-resident tests you are not conclusively non-resident.
This assumes that normal syllogism rules apply here and that, as with pregnancy you cannot be slightly non-resident.

Cutting taxes by cutting tax collectors
Although it is not the most democratic way to cut taxes it is a nice easy way to do it:
For every £10,000 of tax collector's salary there is .... let's say £20,000 in lost taxes.
Conclusion: tax cuts are less expensive to the government when done this way.
