The MARK Story
I was working with a freelance investigative journalist called MARK who had worked for the BBC Spotlight programme and lived in a secluded Yorkshire village.
We were investigating the IRA's involvement in Northern Ireland's grant-aided business scene.
Two London Stock Exchange quoted businesses were under special scrutiny; namely Powerescreen PLC and Mackie International Group PLC.
MARK suddenly went AWOL. So I called at his home. His wife said her MARK was dead. He had walked for the Sunday newspaper to the village papershop. As he came out, a 6 wheeled lorry careered down the narrow road of a hill and splattered him through the paperhop's window.
The driver of the front annihilated lorry said the lorry's brake hydraulics must have failed and that he had got lost and finished up in the secluded Yorkshire village ...!!!!!!!!!
I continued with the story and my archive files were used as the basis of a 40 minute Spotlight documentary shown by the BBC in Northern Ireland and I subsequently discussed the story with the Serious Fraud Office.
Perhaps there may be something in "The MARK Story" for jefflcbba to mull...??????
Jeff Lampert: Your words make MY point much clearer than I did
One friend watcheth for another and the honester the friend being watched over the worse is his luck.
I repeat: It is time to swith off the subject and just say: "C'est la Vie".
God is no botcher and never pays his debts with money.
Romans 12:19 - Bible New International Version: "Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay",says the Lord."
He that goes to LAW holds a WOLF by the ears because LAW catches FLIES but lets the HORNETS go free.
FSA and Jeff Lampert
The FSA are a disgrace.
If he lives long enough, Jeff Lampert will be proved right about Heritage PLC.
But so what?
Jeff's mindset has been so traumatised that he had to recently go to the Far East to learn the best Meditation techniques to try to prevent a full nervous breakdown occurring.
It is time to swith off the subject and just say: "C'est la Vie".
