I have a photocopied form that I have used for several people - no rejections so far.

Once you have made the electronic submission to HMRC the client will get an email giving a payment reference and instructions on how to pay. If you are doing a paper submission you can get a cheque from the client for the tax and send it in with the paper form.

Same here - I have my copies hidden!

That's exactly what I have done and having spoken to HMRC about it last week (managed to speak to a very sensible HMRC staff member!) I was told that was the best way of dealing with it.

Depending on the tone of the HMRC person who answers my phone calls I ask them where they are working from - so far I've had one in the conservatory, one in the dining room and several in the spare bedroom, but the best by far said he was actually working in the office as he had 3 children and he'd never get any peace at home!

I have mild asthma and mild COPD and got the dreaded 12 week letter to stay home and shield - GP is of the impression that asthma can be an issue with C-19.
So, staying home with the occasional sneaky walk out when it's early and I'm unlikely to meet anyone else.

I was speaking to someone who was a retired HMRC IT person recently - he said it would have taken another three months at the minimum to add agent access to the SEISS claim facility. He said they would normally have tested the facility for at least 12 months before releasing it, so for once I am on HMRC's side here - speed was of the essence and HMRC have (hopefully) come up trumps.

I have taken my office chair home as I could not find an affordable one that would arrive anytime in the next month or so. One of the partners arranged to deliver my lovely "back kind" chair to me at home. Absolutely no private use though - I work to office hours and do not go into my home office out of hours.

Similarly my cat has point blank refused to help with the filing and has therefore been furloughed. Her sole contribution this week has been to walk across the keyboard and into camera shot while I was on a Zoom call - the other participants appreciated her input more than I did.
