As the immigration (or migration - which I think is more correct term) issue is always on top of the agenda when it comes to EU - I thought, I will add my say as one of those migrants from Eastern (Central) Europe.
I believe we (migrants) should not have any rights to benefits until we have worked and pay taxes (for how long? Subject to discussion). Neither should any British people who migrate to other EU countries.
Firstly, this would be fair. Secondly, it would reduce the arrival of people who only come here "for benefits" (although I must say most people I know, hardly get any benefits and they work). Thirdly, this subject would stop in media forever and British people would be more friendly to foreign people who come to live in UK.
From what I can see, my impression is that UK will decide to leave EU.
I wonder what consequences it will have for people like myself? My kids never lived anywhere else, they love UK (I love it too, just for the record :) ) and feel here at home.
The referendum will be held on my birthday, so maybe I will get a departure ticket as a birthday present? :)
Probably, British people who live in France, Spain etc. also think what is going to happen to them after the 23rd...
Well, anyway it will be an interesting birthday this year...
