I got one who insists on recording his customer sales and orders in a book as he doesn't trust the software. Getting him to raise sales invoices using the software is like doing me a favour. It is tricky having friends as clients so he I will be letting him go once I am earning enough money.
Tolleys I am studying with Tolleys and they are great. How long depends on whatelse you have going on in your life. I met a girl who was doing all 3 papers in one sitting.
Just looking at benefits I am getting more for my money than I ever did with ACCA. ACCA should give members more than use of letters, practising certificate and an irrelevant magazine
ACCA certificate Yes they do request for it. I was in shock as well when I was asked to send mine back. It actually felt like breaking up with a long term boyfriend. I am loving ICPA as it is relevant to accountants in UK practice
PI I have got my own PI and never intended to hide behind anyone else's. I would like to get things right as I am on my own. As suggested, a mentor is what I need.

How do some people sleep at night?
Enough said.
ATT
I have ATT more relevant than even ACCA. I wouldn't need to do any exams for AAT; I was just considering it in terms of recognition.
Cowboy
Thanks Shirley. I really must shake off this cowboy feeling.

Spot on
It is the reassurance I need as I don't want to get things wrong.
Finding a mentor would be great; not sure where to find one though.
Fee
I am guessing the experienced accountant would be earning a fee for about an hour's work.
