Birmingham International Airport (BIA) is the UK’s fifth largest airport and handled over nine million passengers through its two terminals in 2005. In 2005 they began searching for a new financial solution by visiting the Softworld exhibition. Armstrong’s solution was evaluated against a number of other systems, including Sage, Agresso, Coda, Exchequer, Navision and SunSystems. Access Dimensions and FocalPoint came out on top and in August 2005, BIA selected Armstrong’s solution.

This case study explores the pains they had before changing systems, areas in which BIA have seen improvements, how they selected their solution, and why they opted for Armstrong Consultants as their reseller.
