What Wolters Kluwer says

You need to feel certain that every set of client accounts you produce will satisfy current statutory and legal requirements. Wolters Kluwer delivers that peace of mind with software that automates the accounts production process to ensure quick turnaround of high quality final accounts in the shortest possible time.

Custom styles can be quickly applied without changing the underlying accounts formats, so you can use an existing house style and make special modifications for clients who need them.

We’ve worked hard to make data entry as quick and easy as possible for all types of user. Transactions and balances can be imported from a number of sources including third-party accounting software, saving staff time and eliminating transcription errors.

With accounts production integrated into the CCH Central suite, you only have to enter and update information in one place and you get a complete picture of your clients and your practice without constantly swapping between applications.

Constant changes in legislation and accounting guidelines, with requirements like iXBRL filing, make it harder for accountants to make a profit from accounts preparation. When you use CCH Accounts Production software, compliance becomes as efficient and profitable as possible, with new opportunities for added-value services.

What AccountingWEB says

Wolters Kluwer holds the biggest sway among large firms with its CCH Central suite and associated products. The online CCH OneClick integrated workspace may have monopolised the headlines during the past year, but according to our user ratings, there have been improvements in the accounts production and tax compliance modules since last year.

In contrast to its rivals for the more sophisticated end of the accounts production software market, Wolters Kluwer did not suffer as much during the transition to new UK GAAP. But big firm developers are not immune from the industry’s big software shift. CCH users do not shy from offering their developer constructive advice, with several asking for a lower cost cloud accounts production program.
