2018 roadmap

Since it was first released in 2014, Sage has enhanced the software with subtle improvements to the traditional accounts preparation software model. Through working hand-in-hand with customers, Sage managed to solve problems they didn’t realise they had with their existing solutions, until Sage showed them a better way.

Sage is now focusing on customisation capabilities (styling and content)that will be released over the next year as work to build deeper integrations with Sage Accountant Cloud continues.

What AccountingWEB says

When it first appeared Sage Accountant Cloud | Final Accounts Online achieved an impressive balance between usability and functionality.

Taxfiler has proved the demand for a low cost, no-nonsense accounts production tool within the new generation of cloud practices catering for small and microbusinesses. But Sage's online final accounts module struggled for acceptance as the company dithered around its cloud practice strategy for the past four years.

Some light is beginning to emerge from Sage at this point, with the 2018 launch of the Sage Accountant Cloud, incorporating a complete set of online practice and compliance apps alongside the revamped Sage Business Cloud Accounting program (formerly Sage One).
