What AccountingWEB says

Sage Accounts Production has been the accounts production workhorse for Sage’s small practice customers for many years without attracting the enthusiastic ratings of rival systems such as VT or Taxfiler.

Sage Accounts Production does a competent job for unchallenging entities, but lacks templates including IFRS and charities, and features such as consolidation and multi-currency accounts that are are the preserve of its bigger sibling, Sage Accounts Production Advanced.

With the arrival of Sage Accountant Cloud | Final Accounts in recent years, the rationale for maintaining a desktop small company product is wearing thin, and the long-term feedback trends from users suggests that they and Sage are beginning to recognise this.
