What KashFlow says
KashFlow is online accounting software, designed for small business owners. It simplifies bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, VAT and HR, allowing small businesses to control their business finances.
From managing the books to delivering pension schemes, KashFlow’s online software suite provides a view of what’s happening from quoting and invoicing to paying employees.
KashFlow works from anywhere, at any time and on any device. In addition to managing critical business functions, the software automatically updates VAT which can be submitted to HRMC. It also allows online payments, and can be shared directly with an accountant so they check and help manage the books.
KashFlow is continually updated and at the forefront of these changes is HMRC’s Making Tax Digital (MTD) legislation. KashFlow was one of the first online accounting software providers to be MTD-compliant and is listed on the HMRC MTD providers website. It is also actively working on the MTD BETA pilot.

What AccountingWEB says
There was a time 10 years ago when KashFlow was the undisputed UK cloud accounting market leader. Since then, the pioneering app was acquired by IRIS and overtaken in the marketplace by Xero and QuickBooks.
The IRIS link did not pan out as expected and KashFlow drifted out of contention for several years. But the prospect of Making Tax Digital, competitive pricing and better integration with other IRIS practice and tax programs has sparked a mini-revival.
Long-time IRIS/KashFlow customers are increasingly complimentary. To really make a dent, however, KashFlow will need to reach beyond this relatively small enclave to attract more small business users.
