This month’s Any Answers Answered video series features questions on salary sacrifice, the national minimum wage and tax-free dividends.

In the video below TAXtv hosts Giles Mooney and Tim Good tackle two Any Answers questions posted by AccountingWEB members HeavyMetalMike and Alan Rook.

The first question, put forward by HeavyMetalMike, addresses two points on when salary sacrifice is not valid and also whether you are allowed sacrifice below the minimum wage.

Tim Good explains only in very limited circumstances. Watch the video below for his full explanation.

The next question, posted by Alan Rook, concerns converting property income into tax-free dividends.

Giles Mooney commented that a lot of people have been asking him about the issue of getting money out of property business without paying much tax.

Answering the question, Tim Good goes on to discuss whether using a property management company is a neat idea or not.
