MPs call for Duchy tax exemption investigation

The Price of Wales’s estate should be investigated because of concerns that the the tax breaks it receives may give it an unfair advantage over commercial rivals, the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has said.

The committee said that Duchy of Conrnwall’s exemption from CT and CGT may mean that competing businesses do not have a “level playing field”.
