Making Tax Digital was back in the news this week (was it ever not in the news?) after the Lords committee yet again kicked the government’s digital tyres. But AccountingWEB’s headlines were equally dominated by the threat of a no-deal Brexit on cross border trader and the forthcoming Budget – namely, will this actually be a fiscal event of substance or will the Chancellor avoid rocking an already shaky boat.
