SAP User Conference: The great pricing debate

SAP is opening up to its customers and listening more, but there's still work to be done on satisfying the user base over pricing and licensing.

That was the keynote message from the UK and Ireland SAP User Conference in Manchester this week. "Our message to SAP is clear - users want greater clarity and transparency around pricing," said Alan Bowling, chairman of the user group. "SAP licensing has always been a challenge and at the moment it seems to be getting more complex. We need simplicity not complexity.
