This special Tech Lowdown rounds-up some of the news and updates you can expect from the exhibitors if you visit their stands at Xerocon.

The Xerocon silver exhibitor will be running product demos at their stand for its invoice capture and approvals product, iCompleatInvoice, which was officially launched in September.

As well as offering live personalised demos at the event, Compleat will be offering accountants in practice the possibility to try the software for free for one year. On the first day of the event Philip Douglas, managing director at Compleat, will also be running a session about the advantages AP automation at Demo Stage two.

GoCardless, which was named Xero App Partner of the Year at last year’s Xerocon London awards ceremony will be presenting its new accountants programme from stand two at this year’s event. On day two, Hiroki Takeuchi, GoCardless CEO, will be hosting a breakout session on ‘Why invoice payments are broken and how to fix them’with Will Farnell, founder of Farnell Clarke at the Gold Stage two.

The KeyPay team in the UK will be telling visitors about their platform and its integration with Xero from the stand B19, where the team will be demonstrating their cloud technology and automation capabilities for bureaux.

This is the first opportunity to see KeyPay at Xerocon after becoming a global award winner as Payroll Software Supplier of the Year 2018 at the Global Payroll Awards and entering the UK market in May 2018.

Practice Ignition

This year, Practice Ignition will be hosting their first London precon party. The event will take place the night before Xerocon (13th November) at the Fox Bar of Excel London. Gary Turner, co-founder and MD Xero EMEA and Trent Mclaren, head of accounting at Practice Ignition are among its VIP guests.

Receipt Bank

Receipt Bank is organising a VIP yacht party on the evening of the 13th of November at the Sunborn Yacht Hotel in London. The evening will include a cocktail and canapé reception and networking opportunities before Xerocon.

At Xerocon, Receipt Bank will offer a free Canon P-208ii Mobile Scanner to visitors who register for a one-on-one demo session of their software during the two-day event.

The job management software provider SimPRO will also be at Xerocon this year.

During the two day conference, SimPRO will conduct demos of their software and promote their partner programme, aimed at accountants with clients such as project, service and maintenance businesses.

Tradify, the job management software for tradespeople will be demonstrating their Xero add-on at their stand, showing how it simplifies back-office tasks.

With over 10,000 users in Australia and New Zealand, the Auckland-based developer recently reached the UK market via the QuickBooks Online app marketplace as well as its integration with Xero.
