When we wrote up the shortlist for this category two weeks ago, we hinted that "cloud solutions have gained more ground on the traditional desktop names during the Covid-19 crisis." We couldn't have been more right as Satago's fintech-meets-practice management hybrid didn't just shake up an already shaken software category, it grabbed the top spot. The fourth different winner in four years, this fiercely-contested category keeps on giving.

Commentary: “Cloud practice management software came into its own as remote working became the norm during 2020. While AccountacyManager, BTCSoftware, Senta and Glide all gained great user ratings, Satago’s hybrid of free client management tools, dashboard and access to online finance gave it a unique competitive edge among our voters.”

Looking at the Satago website are you sure that they are in the right category.

Their software seems to be credit control and invoice financing rather than Practice Management software.

Can I email all clients, can I keep track of jobs, can I use a portal and get documents e-signed, etc etc. The answer seems to be no.

Also, when you click on the link to "Best Practice Management Software for UK Accountants" there is no mention of Satago in the list.

I bet both Accountany Manager and Senta are spitting tin tacks as they are the two front runners in this space.

Congrats go to Satago though winning a race that you shouldn't have been in.
