His appointment has been described as the beginning of a new era for KashFlow.
“I was very keen to be part of a cloud based accounting business –SaaS is now the only game in town,” said Guest. “I am delighted to be joining an outfit that is young and growing but also mature enough to be profitable and steady. There’s definitely something inspiring about working in a founder-managed business,” he added.
KashFlow founder Duane Jackson, said there had been a need for a COO at the firm for some time, but the decision had not been rushed into: “I wanted to make sure we hired the right person,” Jackson said. “Simon seems tailor-made for the role and his previous experience should be tremendously useful for us as we continue to grow”.
Guest added: “Designing and implementing internal process to deliver better customer service is my passion.  I am really excited to get to know the rest of the team and to start talking to customers to understand what support they want from us.  As the company grows, and the product evolves, so I shall ensure the customer experience is also enhanced."
