Revolut’s new browser extension, Revolut Shopper, allows customers to get discounts at the checkout while shopping securely using virtual cards.

The browser extension acts as a deal finder and automatically finds and applies discount codes at the online store’s checkout.

Eligible shoppers can also receive cashback to their Revolut account, on top of any promo codes applied by the extension, when shopping with Revolut’s partners.

Revolut’s single-use virtual cards self-destruct following each transaction, ensuring secure customer browsing and shopping. Multi-use virtual cards are also available, to set up one card to use for a particular shop, subscription, or specific type of spending. Revolut Shopper autofills card details every time customers go to check out online.

How to use Revolut Shopper:

  • Add Revolut Shopper to Chrome.

  • Log in and go shopping as usual.

  • At the checkout, choose which card to pay with.

Other recent new features include:

  • Track price movements, set limits and stop orders with crypto and commodities using Revolut candlestick charts available in-app to compare by the hour. The tool has been developed as a method of keeping customers on top of their holdings.

  • Customers using crypto or commodities now have even more control over their trades as the market moves, can set limits and stop orders, simply and easily, to help them stay within budget.

  • Exchange currencies with more control: those interested in foreign currency exchange can now place a limit order and stop orders when they exchange.

  • Flexible controls for Group Vaults: group admins can allow members to withdraw funds, or only make deposits.

  • Track spending payday to payday: customise finance view using in-app analytics. Spending can also be tracked from payday to payday using Revolut’s Budget and Analytics tools.

  • Customers can use the Web App to manage their Revolut account from a desktop. The Web App can be used to freeze/unfreeze cards, unblock their CVV/PIN and toggle all other card security settings on or off with just a few clicks. Customers can also top up their account via debit or credit card, and Apple Pay on supported browsers.

  • Purchase protection and other insurance benefits are available on paid plans.

  • Customers can get paid without revealing their mobile number with username personalisation and payments, removing the need to reveal a phone number or bank account number.

  • Receive alerts when free trials are ending and decide to continue and pay or cancel.

  • New insurance features at no extra cost on paid plans: customers receive comprehensive purchase protection. Revolut offers cover £1,000 for Plus, £2,500 for Premium and £10,000 for Metal customers for purchases accidentally damaged or stolen, for an entire year.

  • Customers on paid plans get access to 90-day refunds protection and ticket cancellation protection on eligible purchases. Refunds are paid straight to Revolut account.

  • Full view of transfers with Revolut friends: payments shows P2P transfers with Revolut contacts. Fun reactions to payments can be shared using gifs or emojis in-app.
