An online talent contest with a twist.

Any Answers thread started last week asked if AccountingWEB.co.uk members had any hidden talents they wanted to share with the rest of us.

There have been some weird and wonderful skills revealed (and that was just from the editorial team!), but we need more if we’re going to judge whether AccountingWEB’s Got Talent.

Can you do impressions? Walk on stilts? Do you sing, dance or tell jokes? Perhaps you're excellent at trampolining? Prove it - send us your videos and photos showing off your skills to [email protected].

We’ll round up the best ones next week in an AccountingWEB’s Got Talent special and the winner will take away a lovely prize (as well as all the glory of course!).

Please send in your videos and photos by Tuesday 9 June.

Let battle commence!

There are a few of us, actually ...............
There are few of us Chartered Accountants out there with a bit of talent. I'm sure our own Mark Lee won't mind me mentioning that he is full member of the Magic Circle, and Rebecca B has considerable acting talent. (Chime in Rebecca, and tell us about it!)

As for myself, in addition to running a small accountancy practice in Edgware, and being involved a bit with the local District Society, I also play the guitar in my spare time. I play with two bands at present, The Retros, who are a 60's cover band, (Beatles, Hollies, Kinks, Stones, etc) and as lead guitar for singer/songwiriter Frazer Kennedy. I'm proud to say that Frazer had a number one single last summer on the UK unsigned artist chart, and I was the lead guitarist on that track ("Yesterdays Gone").

Back in 2001 Mark Lee and myself (and a few others) performed a concert for the Princes Trust in the Great Hall at Moorgate Place to celebrate the end of my year of Chairmanship of the London Society. Rock'n'Roll in the Great Hall - would you credit (or debit) it!
