Toshiba NB200 ramps up the 'mini-netbook' arms race

22 April Competition in the fast growing netbook market is hotting up, with laptop specialist Toshiba joining the race with a new 10-in NB200 "mini-netbook".

The NB200 comes with an Intel Atom N270 processor with hard disk capacities up to 160GB, 1-2GB of memory, 9-hour battery life, with built-in WiFi and 3G mobile broadband connections. The design includes a shock-detecting sensor to protect the hard disk and a good size keyboard.
