Sage's traditional spring shopping expedition this year lighted on Tekton, the developer of EVision, a construction industry software suite designed to work in tandem with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Sage paid 21 million cash for Tekton, which made a profit of 2.3m on turnover of 8.8m in the year to 30 June 2007. According toSage, Tekton's unaudited half year management accounts to December 2007 showed revenues of 4.5m.
Tekton's flagship product EVision is a set of modules designed to handle contract and project management, many of which integrate with the system architecture and development design tools within Dynamics NAV.
