Xero updates its expense claims functionality

Xero has announced the global launch of the new Xero Expenses. This functionality aims to offer an efficient way to manage expense claims through automatically scanning receipts, app notifications to keep up-to-date on the status of expense claims, and flexible user permissions to control of who can submit, approve or pay a claim.

Xero users can try the new expenses feature for free until 28 September. Additional charges of £2.50 per month per active user will apply to those users who continue using the product after this date.

Xero’s classic expense claims functionality will be retired on 31 January 2019. From this date, the information from any previously processed expenses will be accessible as read-only through Xero reporting once classic expense claims retires.
