GDPR survey: Are accountants ready?

Wolters Kluwer has conducted research to find out how prepared accountants are for GDPR, which comes into force in less than six months.

The key findings indicate that 64% of accountants have only researched the basic changes GDPR brings. Additionally, 22% know what GDPR stands for but have little broader understanding of the potential consequences of these changes. Only 14% would classify themselves as “knowledgeable” about GDPR. Full findings and commentary about the results can be found here.
