Xero’s new invoicing lands in the UK

Xero has made its new invoicing feature available in the UK. The new invoicing has been designed as a more intuitive version with simplified workflows, and it uses machine learning to suggest account codes.

Additionally, the new version includes a new automatic save feature and the possibility to show and hide entry fields when entering the invoice information.

Manual bank transactions on Pandle Mobile

Pandle users can now enter bank transactions manually through the web app as well as through Pandle Mobile. The functionality has been added especially for businesses who deal in cash, or who prefer manual data entry over automation.

Businesses using the Pandle Mobile app can now use it to manually enter one-off in-store or cash purchases to complete bookkeeping tasks on the go.

Pandle Mobile users can start manually entering bank transactions by selecting the account they wish to enter transactions for and clicking the '+' symbol. Pandle also offers the possibility to attach the related receipt or invoice.

Manually entering transactions in Pandle Mobile also works alongside the Receipt Uploads feature, enabling users to snap a picture of receipts and attach them to transactions as they are entered.

FreeAgent adds new estimate options to platform

FreeAgent has released an update to help clients win more work by giving small business owners greater flexibility when creating estimates. The new option added to the platform allows businesses to create estimates that exclude the VAT amount from the totals displayed.

When a client creates an estimate and chooses not to include VAT in totals, FreeAgent will automatically add ‘+ VAT’ instead of displaying the VAT amount.
