This week’s roundup features Optimum Finance partnering with Just Cashflow, Payhawk’s integration with DATEV and $2.5m funding for Lemon Edge funding.

Just Cashflow offers Invoice Finance facilities with Optimum Finance

Following on the heels of a recent Optimum Finance round table, specialist lender Just Cashflow has formed a partnership with Optimum Finance to offer invoice finance facilities to its customers.

Optimum Finance customers will now be able to access Just Cashflow's range of flexible finance facilities, including a revolving credit facility that operates in the same way as a traditional bank overdraft.

Just Cashflow CCO Martine Catton commented, “Businesses are waiting to see if they will qualify for the latest government-backed loan schemes, but often fail to appreciate they can access hundreds of billions of pounds trapped in unpaid invoices.”

LemonEdge raises $2.5m to digitise complex accounting for financial services industries

London-based fintech LemonEdge (formerly LemonTree Software), has secured funding of $2.5m to recruit top talent for development, implementation, and sales in the company’s London and New York offices.

LemonEdge enables firms in the private equity and financial services industries to digitise complex accounting, many of whom still run on old, ‘insecure’ legacy systems or spreadsheets. Modern technology platforms will be at the heart of this transformation.

LemonEdge’s low code platform is fully customisable and automates the complex and time-consuming tasks required for shadow accounting, LP specific performance calculations, and fund administration.  The platform also enables real-time scenario modelling with its unique Canvas function. Analysis that typically requires days or weeks on legacy platforms can be completed in seconds using LemonEdge’s platform.
