Thomson Reuters launches practice management solution

Thomson Reuters has launched a cloud-based practice management solution, Onvio Firm Management, with features such as project management, time and billing and portals.

The solution also includes dashboards that show the status of projects as well as a document manager that staff and clients can use to share and store documents.

CaseWare releases cloud portal

CaseWare has recently released a new cloud portal for client collaboration. The portal features pre-defined information requests, templates for money laundering checks, audit planning and letters of engagement, and an automated system that alerts clients when they need to send new information to their accountant.

The platform also uses automation to insert new files attached by the client in the correct engagement files.

Practice Ignition secures $26m in Series B funding

Practice Ignition has received a $26 million in Series B funding, led by Tiger Global Management, a US hedge fund that has backed companies such as Spotify and Stripe.

The funding will help develop the Practice Ignition platform and triple the size of his global team from 60 to almost 200 people in Canada, the US, Australia and the UK by the end of 2020.

FreeAgent integrates with Goodtill point of sale software

FreeAgent has announced an integration with Goodtill, a software and hardware provider that creates tablet-based points of sale. Goodtill’s product offering also includes inventory management capabilities, reporting, the ability to create marketing initiatives and options like ‘click and collect’ and loyalty functionality.

The integration with FreeAgent will allow users to upload their daily sales data and end-of-day reports directly into FreeAgent from their Goodtill account, eliminating manual entry.

Receipt Bank integrates with Sage 50

Receipt Bank has announced the addition of new features and integrations. A new Sage 50 integration now allows users to submit items on the go and simplifies the data import process.

Additionally, the company has introduced a sales invoice feature, automatic line item extraction and automatic bank transaction matching.
